GETTING TO KNOW CHIBIREINA

Apr 29, 2016 10:42

IN THIS SEGMENT WE WILL KNOW WHAT REI THINKS ABOUT YUNJAE AND SOME GENREAL AND RANDOM QUESTIONS FROM ME

All about yunjae

TINA: What does yunjae represent to you?
REI: YunJae to me just represents my earlier days as a k-pop fan-they, with the added combo of ChunSuMin, just made me really happy (this was all before the lawsuit). High school was a struggle, so it was always a relief just having them to fall back on after school every day.

TINA: Why are we obsessed with Yunjae?
REI: I’d ask myself this every day, once upon a time haha. I have no answer.

TINA: Why is that Yunjae in stories can do anything and we support them?
(Ex: affair, Incest, home wrecker)
REI: Because the story isn’t real, not hurting anyone (for the most part), and won’t cause any controversy. That’s the best kind of answer I can give without breaking into a big essay haha.

TINA: Tomorrow headlines Jaejoong confirms he is in a relationship with a girl. How do you feel?
REI: I feel happy for him! He’s a real human being with his own daily experiences. How I feel about a pairing shouldn’t affect my feelings towards people in real life.

TINA: Asian celebrities often get married in secret and hide the fact they are indeed married..So one member of TVXQ is in that married status. How do you feel?
REI: It’d come as a shock at first just because ‘Whoa, I wasn’t expecting that!’ But again, I’d be happy as soon as it all sunk in, haha.

TINA: How real is Yunjae and how much is in fact Fan service?
REI: Honestly, I’m pretty sure a good 99.9% of it is fan service haha. But honestly, I could be very wrong.

TINA: Do you think Jaejoong is gay?
REI: I have no thoughts on that, actually haha. Maybe, maybe not, maybe he could even be bi, who knows. Jaejoong could be many things, but it’s not my place to form any opinion on what he could or couldn’t be when only he knows.

TINA: When Yunjae comes out publicly……..
REI: I admit, I’d be a little shocked haha. I’d be happy for them, but it’d be a surprise. I know there are many YunJae fans, but there’s the chance that a good bunch of the fans could actually stop stanning them because “what, they’re not gay.” They could even get dropped by advert contracts, etc. all that fun stuff.

TINA: Do you think they meet secretly and still friends or even lovers?
REI: I actually do think they meet in secret as friends from time to time. I don’t like trusting vague photographic sources, but there was one time where they apparently met up, I don’t know if it’s confirmed. And now that they’re both in the military, I know they’ve publicly been a part of military-related performances… they have to at least still be talking [siiiiigh].

TINA: What is about Yunjae that makes you sacrifice your time and energy upon writing fictions..
REI: They were just a fun and interesting pairing to write about at the time while I was fangirling about the group I absolutely loved. I still love them to this day!

TINA: your future plans for fanfics?
REI: I’m still going to be writing fics, though not for YunJae (as far as I know). There are a lot of unfinished fics I need to get to…

TINA: Thoughts on homosexuality?
REI: I think everybody should just love who they want and be allowed to love who they want. It’s always upsetting hearing about how openly-gay people tend to be treated, and it’s just as upsetting hearing about how people are forced to keep hiding themselves from their family and friends because of this treatment. I just want everyone to be happy.

TINA: What do you think of people who think homo sexuality is a sin and a disease which can be cured?
REI: I’m not an outspoken person when it comes to a lot of topics such as this, so the only opinion I really form about these kinds of people are, “It can’t be helped.” And it’s sad, but how can you preach ‘love for everyone’ to someone who will never open their mind?

TINA: in the future your kid comes out to you. What will you do?
REI: I’d probably be like, “Aww, kiddo. Want to talk more about it? Want something to eat? Hot chocolate? Cuddles?” Just an onslaught of questions because I ask a lot of questions in order to make sure someone is emotionally alright.

TINA: Pride or love?
REI: This one is a slippery slope haha. The typical answer would be “love,” but it’s never that easy.

TINA: Love to me is…………
REI: Something that happens when it happens. I’m not someone who’s out really looking, but I also just go with the flow.

SOME RANDOM QUESTIONS

TINA: I have heard Asian think westerns are ugly?(CHINA,KOREA,JAPAN)
REI: I can’t speak for all Asians ever, but I know that’s not a common thought? It all depends on the individual and what exactly has been influencing them, whether family or friends etc, just like Westerners’ impressions of Asians.

TINA: Asian gives importance to skin color. dark skin is big no no to Asians? Do you think it is ok to think like that?(CHINA JAPAN KOREA AND INDIA)
REI: This is actually a topic I’ve discussed with friends not too long ago. I think it’s not really good to think that way, but a lot of the time it’s something people just can’t help. With my skin and where I’ve grown up, I’ve always been “a little more tanned” than everyone around me because where I live is a mostly-Caucasian society; however, when I go to the Philippines (in the province, not the city), I’m light-skinned as heck and people have gawked and complimented me for my skin like nobody’s business. It’s uncomfortable and just extremely sad that people don’t think their own skin is just fine-but I’ll save a bigger talk for another day.

TINA:: How Important is skin color to you?
REI: On myself, I’d say it’s not important-but I’ve also never had skin dark enough to have been exposed to discrimination for my skin color (ethnicity is a different thing). On other people, I find skin color important in the way where I’m told just a little bit of their life story when it comes to how they’ve been treated by society. If that makes any sense at all.

TINA:: Opinions on plastic surgery?
REI: No major opinions! I know some people get it for medical reasons, others just to make themselves look a certain way. The minor thing that bothers me though, is when other people’s opinions are what affects someone’s decision to get the plastic surgery. Those are just some of my thoughts without going overboard haha.

TINA: Why should we be obsessed with pop idols when they don’t even know we exist?
REI: It’s not a matter of ‘we should be obsessed,’ it’s just a thing that happens. I don’t know how else to explain this, haha. Though, it does matter to the idols themselves because that tends to mean more money coming in…to the company, and possibly them, but mostly the company.
