Gosh.. Ok nevermind, saying gosh makes me sound like some farm girl from the early 1900's... ^^; um.. read most of the stuff on the celebs.. they're quite critical, and I agree. Especially the one on ashanti.. She's another one of those "Princess" "Pop" "Singers".. that totally depends on a computer in a studio. And the queen of them all? Britney

what's really sad is Britney Spears actually CAN sing, just not in the key they make her. She has a wonderful alto voice, sounds a lot like Christina Aguilera, but I think they marketed her differently to fit into that cutesty girl-next-door image. she's basically sold herself for success.

*gasp* no~ I would have to disagree. I've never heard britney actually SING.. In my opinion, she can't. They play with her voice, and you can tell if someone can really sing by either their concerts or if they've done live shows.. and I've watched parts of both from britney.. and she CAN'T SING!!! >_

yes, it's really hard to find footage of it - but they show this thing on vh1 on how she grew up and made it, when she was on star search, she was like 10? she sang in a lower key and sounded decent, a lot like christina aguilera. she got into the mickey mouse club - by singing alto and sounding good. now, all her songs are in a higher key, so yea, she sounds terrible, but there is ONE moment during an mtv awards show, she was singing "can't get no satisfaction" in the very beginning and sang low and sounded fine. if i hadn't seen the special, i wouldn't have paid attention. but anyway, she's a skank now.

XD.. haha, yeah, skank. Well I guess there's a chance for everyone to be good at something, for britney.. the singing chances are just slim. But i have to admit.. you gotta envy her for her entertaining skills. She keeps the boys on a chain no matter what she does.
