i went to the forest preserve to play with my camera yesterday cuz it had been drizzling all day and it was really pretty. humid as all hell, but lovely nonetheless. here are ( pictures )

sometimes i get the feeling like i'm standing on a very high cliff, overlooking the rest of my life. it's a little dizzying and scary.

i fly home tomorrow afternoon. "home" home. chicago home. i don't really want to go. i feel very mixed about it. on the one hand, a little action and a valid drivers license (mine expired june 11) will be nice. i won't be stranded in my apartment, waiting for someone to get home from work to take me somewhere entertaining. on the other hand ( Read more... )

i have been enjoying doing nothing and being lazy, but now i want to go somewhere and i CAN'T because california is STUPID and won't give me a temporary license and mine expires on sunday AND i am too broke to fill up my bloody gas tank--costing me approximately $65+ these days. GRRR!

i'd just like to take a moment to brag, that, after working my ass off last semester (as evidenced by my last post) i managed to hammer out straight a's. pretty pleased about that.. that's all.

OREGON THIS WEEKEND!!!!

life is really heavy sometimes. it requires more thought that i care to put in, or have the mental or emotional facilities to truly engage with.

it's amazing how an acquaintence can affect you.
