So I'm back from Chicago. I'll leave it at that for now.

I am leaving for Chicago tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 7:30ish with my honey. I am super excited, because I've never been to Chicago before...unless you count the time I had a layover at the O'Hare airport on my way to Pennsylvania and my flight got cancelled and I had to stay in this skeezy motel and it was so awful...yeah. Tonight Mike and I are going to old-town Pasadena to walk around and have lots and lots of fun. Last night we went to his home (in Yorba Linda) and walked around old-town Orange and had dinner at this fabulous restaurant, then had coffee at this cute little coffeeshop called the Ugly Mug. It is finally summer. Thank goodness, it took long enough to get here.

I will be working full-time and [hopefully] going on many sporadic weekend trips that don't cost a lot of money.
