I think you're being kind of ridiculous and unreasonable, because it's entirely likely that he just wants to fuck you, and there'd be no way for you to know that until it's a bit too late. You're just being extremely immature when you write your dad off, and insist that he doesn't understand. True, he might not understand, but that's not the point. He has no way of knowing whether or not Sam is who you think he is, and he's looking out for your safety.

If you want to meet Sam, I suggest you have him over your house. There's no reason you can't hang out there before you go up to the mall, and that way your dad can meet him and feel better about you meeting him.

Totally ignoring your dad and refusing to compromise isn't going to help you any, and if you just plan on going behind his back about it then I hope you enjoy being raped, because it's definitely a likely consequence.

Your dad just wants you to take safety precautions, what's so hard about that? It doesnt mean he thinks you're an idiot, he wants you to be safe.
