My friend's father died yesterday. I didn't know him, and she's not one of my closest friends, but I am totally in shock. I feel so useless and I don't know what to say. death is inevitable! ìt`s ironic that without death, there is no life. when one is faced with a situation involving death, that individual is reminded how precious life is. basically, death as bad as it is, reminds us to cherish every moment spent with our loved ones because it might not happen again.

i'm sorry to hear about your friends' dad. please convey my deepest sympathies.

and louis, try not to think about it too much. i know it`s hard not to and i know how sad one feels. however, learn from this experience and try to live life to the fullest!

*hugs* bry

Much of how you deal depends on what you believe. Anyway you look at it, death is a painful experience for those who love the person. There is no way around it. But it is also a part of life. Personally, I don't think death is an end because I think we continue to exist in merely another form. All energy that ever was or is will always continue to be so...the spirit never dies. Twenty years after the death of my father he still is here in my heart, my memories, my dreams. You can't get much closer than that.
