Well, I sort of fell asleep early, so it's morning now...Asch is off terrorizing the cooks here. When he first went into the kitchen back at the manor and started making breakfast, (barely able to walk) the head chef almost fainted dead away. Then he started chasing the servants out because they were bothering him...I had to go convince him to leave them alone and let them do their jobs. But he keeps insisting on cooking his own food, saying he's not a noble anymore.

Well, it's not a bad thing, he's a good cook. I never really got to try his food before. Kind of sad that he's better than Natalia...then again, most people are. (I'm lucky she doesn't read this or I'd be facedown in the bay tomorrow)

Speaking of Natalia, a lot of

A lot's happened, which is why I'm having a hard time getting it down...well, we were all going a little nuts because Natalia was going nuts about the wedding, so...Tear suggested we take a trip around and learn what's happened while we were gone.

Well, first off, at home...Mother was the same as ever, hugging us and saying how much she missed us. Father didn't seem to know what to say, but the next day there was a pair of cats wandering around the manor. I guess that was his way of saying "welcome home" or something...they were kinda nice, but man, did they want a lot of attention. Mieu was the closest thing I ever had to a pet, so I wasn't really sure what to do. Tear said I should name them, but then she said all the names I came up with were stupid and called them Pudding and Cupcake. Boy cats! Pudding and Cupcake...that's just like her. I guess they don't care what she calls them if she spoils them like that all the time. She should just take them home with her. But I guess they're Father's gifts, so she can't really...

Guy's been in Grand Chokmah, of course, doing whatever the Emperor wants him to. Which is apparently not as exciting as it sounds. Jade is busy being Jade (whatever that means...who knows what he does in his free time) and Anise has been trying to recruit people (and money) to the Order. Natalia's had her hands full finding homes for all the leftover replicas...even after all this time they haven't been able to find all of them. Hopefully that means some families have taken a few in or something.

And me...I feel kind of dizzy. It doesn't feel like two years passed. I was only conscious for a couple of months, probably...I have no idea what happened before that. If Asch knows he isn't saying anything. He doesn't yell as often...and we can talk to each other easily through the link now. It doesn't give me a headache or anything, and I can contact him from my side, too. I wonder if Lorelei did something.

I'm not really sure, but something else is definitely...different. We always had to stick close together on Eldrant, and the first night back, he insisted on sleeping in a guest room so I could be in my room. But neither of us could sleep at all...so he ended up in my bed anyway. It was sort of weird...I haven't been in the same bed with someone else since I was little and got nightmares and would go into Guy's room. And it's not really meant for two people, but I didn't really notice he was there after a while. Asch acted kind of mad, like it was a pain, but he fell asleep, too.

We get along better, but he's always arguing with Guy...I can't really tell who starts it. The strangest thing was...I asked Natalia and she told me Guy was jealous that Asch was so close with me or something. I couldn't figure out what he was worried about--I mean, Guy will always be my best friend. I tried to ask him about it, but he just said some stuff about not being to change other people's feelings and we had a pillow fight. Then Asch came in and I kind of forgot about it for a while.

The other strange thing is...well, Asch and Natalia's wedding. I feel bad, but all the preparation just seems like a big pain. Like, if they really care about each other, do they have to go around shouting it out loud like this? Or something...plus, Asch can still barely walk by himself. How is he supposed to be king? But when we asked Natalia about it, she gave Asch one look, said "you're not going to keep your promise?" and he caved. Like he can't stand up for himself...it's like she's so excited to have him back she can't even tell he needs rest. I've got to talk to her again somehow...but I'm kind of afraid of the look she'd give me.

I tried talking to other people about it, but Guy just said to ask Asch straight out how he feels...and Asch just talked like it was normal and he'd been expecting it his whole life, so it didn't matter. So I even ended up going to Jade, of all people. Who of course turned everything around and made it about me...he said I was the one that didn't want them to get married, not because I was worried about Asch.

What's that even supposed to mean!?

I tried Tear next...not really expecting anything. She said it was pretty obvious that me and Asch were close...but that doesn't explain why the idea of the wedding makes me upset. I mean, it's not like once he's married I'll never see or talk to him again. I guess we can't sleep together anymore, but...that was just habit anyway.

It doesn't really matter...we convinced Natalia to postpone it for two weeks while we settle in. That's about when we left for Yulia City, two or three days ago. Tear showed us around a bit, but I was feeling tired so I went back to the inn early. Didn't really wake up until now, or rather when I started writing. I can smell breakfast and I think I managed to get down everything important for now.
