So, this semester has been hell so far.  It has been a barrage of quizzes (4 a week or so) and pretty well constant onslaught of never-ending work.  I now have a big exam Thursday, a quiz Friday another exam and project due Monday, two quizzes and an article summary Tuesday ... Ok, so I haven't posted in forever, but I'm at UH really early because I needed to sign up for my school ID and now I have 2 hours to waste (most of it already wasted) before class starts.  My classes yesterday were pretty good, although my late class (4:30-6) is going to drag on like crazy.  The prof is very nice, however she speaks on the quiet ( Read more... )

Ok... so I'm back at work after a 2 week vacation in Dallas... meeting the family of the Brock and hanging out a lot. Only awful thing was that I got sick on new year's eve and was pretty much out of commission until Wednesday, not fun at all to be sick at someone else's house, I really missed home then. Well, apparently the holiday spirit has struck my boss, he was running around giving out $20 gift cards to everyone and although he can't give us a bonus we do get a day off... so that's pretty nice.. of course money would have been better... but this is certainly good. Ok... so I am really thinking a lot recently about just quitting my job and moving to Dallas and if I get into UH I can just move back and if not I'll figure things out there.
