No such thing as a peaceful time, really. War is always going on somewhere, on some scale.

That is true. Such a shame that is, but I can hardly hold such high expectations.

It's... peaceful, when I left my world. A big battle had just ended for the fate of the hearts of the worlds.

But Discedo has gotten better since I first arrived. People are... working together. Sort of.

'Fate of the Hearts'? May I inquire...?

Yes, there is that one grace, fortunately.

There was... a bad leader named Xemnas, who was a thing called a 'nobody', he didn't have a heart. He was trying to destroy the heart of the worlds where I come from, but... he was stopped, by a hero. Sora.

Mhmm. Ever since the satellite, things have been getting better.

No heart? Intriguing. Is this Sora an acquaintance of your's?

As they always do. Things must become worse before they become better, is what I have heard.

My world had known war for a hundred years. My entire life was spent in its wake...

Though I should state the majority of our world is Christian.

...How unfortunate. [And she says this very sadly.]

Christian?

hmm...

Christianity is the faith of those who follow Jesus Christ, the messiah of the Hebrew. They believe he is the Son of God, and was sent here to save them from the burden of sin via his crucifixion. On Easter Sunday, he supposedly rose from the dead and appeared before his apostles, confirming this.

Ah. What an interesting belief. If there are such deities like this in your lands I am curious to find what other sort of deities reside elsewhere.

Where I, myself, am not part of that particular culture, I've spent considerable time among the Inuit. They're a very interesting people, with fascinating traditions.

As a member of the police force, there is always something wrong. But I suppose things could be worse-- my country isn't involved in any wars, which I count as a blessing.

As far as morality goes... I will take the side of the law. It's my duty and my first priority.

...Ah. Diefenbaker would like to greet you, ma'am.

Inuit? Do please go on.

Yes, that most certainly is.

Interesting... [She stops and blinks. Although you can't see it, she smiles slightly.] Of course.

this is the first time in his life someone has wanted to hear an inuit story badassmountie April 15 2009, 20:45:29 UTC
'Inuit' is a general term for a group of culturally similar indigenous peoples inhabiting the Arctic regions of Canada, Greenland, and Alaska, United States. They have a long and very interesting cultural history, which is grossly underestimated by non-indigenous people.

It's nothing but logical to me, ma'am.

((If she doesn't stop him he'll basically tell her that whole wiki article.))

Where I... came from, I'd just brought an end to a war. A country called Highland had a crazed prince who just wanted to kill and fight, so people, my friends, had to stop him. A lot of complicated things happened, but I think everything's finally supposed to be peaceful. I'm here so, I don't get the chance to find out.

Such turmoil brings only despair to the lands. Hmpf.

I am pleased to hear of the prospect of peace in your lands. Such thoughts are uplifting ones.

Well, my friend Tir, here's here too, he did the same thing, but from what I hear, it was a whole empire that was corrupt, and the war took a lot longer.

Another friend of mine... he... well... ended up taking over the Highland army after we defeated that crazy Prince.

Hm, is he? Would he be against my questioning of these events?

And has he proven himself to be better-suited to the position?
