We got ready to go to the Level 3 Family picnic all good so far. On the way there we got rear-ended. I pulled over and the fucker acted like he was pulling over and then took off. So we had to wait for almost an hour waiting for the cops n the area to get their shit together so that we can file a report. Thankfully I had 2 witnesses that left info

Sweetheart, I know you'd rather tough it out, but go get checked out, either at the ER or at an urgent care...and make Lenny do it too. It's not unusual after an accident for it to take a little while to notice anything (the adrenaline kicks in and masks aches and pains). If you wait too long, your insurance won't cover it. Better safe than sorry, please?

I don't know if the insurance will cover it cause it was a car accident. I know in Texas it was done under the auto insurance of the person at fault. If that is how they do it here we are screwed.

Call your insurance and find out. And, you never know - it sounds like there's a good likelihood they'll catch the guy if witnesses had the license plate and/or good descriptions. But even if the other guy's insurance doesn't. that's part of what *you* have auto insurance for. So call and find out your options, okay? The last thing any of you need is new chronic pain or injury....
