loooove the photos, wow!! I would have been really scared to go in that abandoned place, good thing you had your dad with you. Love the one of him with the car lights.

That's so sad about your nan bb, :( :( that chat she had with your dad must have been really hard for him, but it's slightly comforting that she feels ready, instead of being scared and frightened.

Though very sad, it is a really good sign your Nan is so at peace with the whole thing. I'll hope for the best for her and you and your family :)

Also, the photo of the warehouse? Looks straight from a horror movie...

the first photo that you took last, and the last one you took first are actually my favourites. haha! ok so dumb but what is a medium format camera? i know we're using them on my course but i am so stupid :(

this is really sad about your nan everything coming at once :( i am really really sorry.

a medium format camera uses 120 film, as opposed to 35mm film. so it's basically double the size, which means double the quality. so where a 35mm film can blow up to say, 20x24in or something, a medium format could go up to 40x30in (i dont actually know but you get the drift).
theyre so amazing. the cameras themselves are horribly bulky and heavy most of the time, but they produce beautiful images.
wait till you start using large format cameras! scary haha
