Just heard about what happened and I'm so terrified. I hope this will end soon, and that you, your friends and your family are safe.

And yes, sometimes people amaze you, just when you think you lost faith in humanity.

It makes me think about how lucky we are to live in this country, and makes me wonder how the people in very poverty stricken countries get over something like this.
- This week there's been a flood in Brazil and like 550 people died. And the worst part is it didn't rain as much here as it did in Australia. You are lucky indeed. You live in a serious country where people do things the right way. Brazil is an effing joke :( I have cried so much all through the week hearing the most horrible stories of people trying to help but not suceeding. It was the worst documented natural disaster in the history of my country. And for us to recover is definitely not as easy.

Anyway.

Still, my heart also goes to Australia. Things like that are always very sad no matter where they happen.

Brazil has been all over our news, its horrifying! People literally being swept away, it was horrible. What's with all this flooding? Why does this all happen at the same time? Mother nature is screwed in the head, I swear.
I hope Brazil gets a lot of help, it will be so hard for so many of those people to recover, my heart goes out to them!
