So, for those of you who don't know... Randy and I bought a house out in the country in April. It's in an acreage subdivision, and we have 5.5 acres near Brazos Bend State Park. Well, we have lots of critters. He's on a first name basis with a herd of deer that eat better than I do every morning and evening. Plus, he has bird feeders,

I LOVE that area! I haven't been to Brazos Bend in ages.

You know, we've been in the house four months now, and I still haven't been over to the park! Our "subdivision" backs up to the park, so we have access to a couple of fishing lakes through the homeowners' association. I've been down there, but not to the actual park yet. Note to self...need to do that!
