If I'm wearing an ivory dress, and Randy's wearing a black suit...what color shirt and tie does he wear? We're taking care of that in the morning, and I wanted to have an idea what we should get, so it doesn't take forever...

White shirt under is fine. Unless you want cream. This day and age, it's really up to the couple. No faux paux that I know of.

See...I told him cream and he said no way. If he wears a white shirt, what color tie? I don't want him to look like a funeral director, with a black tie... :-)

I don't think the white and ivory will be a big deal, it's just something I personally don't like.

Will you be having some flowers? Or some sort of themed color? Seriously, you can do whatever shirt you want, these days no one will nit pick. And you know, the newest thing is that like you do pink shirt w/ pink tie, that's no harm no foul.

I would gould have him wear eighter an ivory shirt with a black tie(for the full elegance of the day) or if your dress is less formal(which I love) then he could wear a french blue shirt with a striking pattern tie.

Look in my gallery - there's a couple pictures of my dress, but it will be in ivory.

I was thinking ivory shirt and black tie, and he seemed to think that was ugly...

How about black shirt, and a black or ivory tie (or ivory and black patterned tie)? All black would look more formal.

He can't wear white. It won't match.
