She was heading to the elevator after having turned around. I saw her face. I saw those eyes. That soft expression that was weary. She looked so tired and so helpless. Was I imagining things? No. I mean, why would *I* see Tara? I'd figure that would be Willow's deal. Not mine.
But there she was. As real as Jane and myself. Key having been passed to her by the girl behind the desk and lugging her suitcases to the metal doors. Ready to go up to a room.
Was she here for Willow, too? I'd have to see.
"Tara?" I questioned softly, hand gripping my handle a little too tight that the plastic broke.
After mom kicked some major ass, we headed to the motel. I wasn't too excited about staying at a motel. But oh well. "Nice mom that was awesome, how you said that taunt and then just killed him like that! That was great!!!! Can I hold the box?" I pleaded. I really want to hold the box thingy and feel all special. I could be the official box holder.
We got to the motel. I was surprised. I thought it would look all run-downy, Ya know? But it wasn't, it was decent looking. We walked in and as soon as we walked in Mom saw someone she thought she knew. She asked to see if it was Tara. I think that Tara was Willow's old lesbian buddy or something. I think that that's awesome! I love diversity. Well, Hey, look at me compared to my mom. Heh.
I whirled around so fast, that my head was dizzy afterward. I knew that voice. That strong, bold voice. Yet, in the tone, I heard confusion, wonder, and curiosity. Well, why wouldn't it be? I mean...I'm dead, well, to her anyway.
" B-B-Buffy." I stuttered. Damnit, I thought I had rid myself of stuttering! Being a teacher and all, kinda had to kill it...no pun intended. I thought to myself. " L-Look, Buffy I can e-explain..." I trailed off. In the corner of my eye, I saw a teenage girl with looks almost exactly like Buffy. Her daughter I quickly picked up on. Her aurora was exactly like Buffy's, only calmer, less worried about the situtaion myself and Buffy are in .
I gave the blonde slayer a weak smile, trying to ease the blonde out of worry and into understanding. Out of all the people, I knew Buffy would understand. She always did.
The flight went smoothly with the exception of minor turbulence when we neared the airport. Once off the plane Joyce and I headed toward the baggage claim area, where we only had to wait a few moments before seeing my luggage slip onto the circular conveyor belt. Fingers curled around the handle of my suitcase as it moved along the conveyor. Getting a good grip I lifted it up and off the conveyor belt, setting it down for the moment at my feet.
"Your father should have phoned ahead and reserved a rental car for us." I told Joyce picking up my suitcase once more.
"What do you say, shall we get a room at a hotel and order in room service?" I asked as we walked away from baggage claim to where the car rental booths were located.
Way to go Justin. I thought with a smile. He had indeed called ahead and reserved a car, a jeep in fact as I learned when I stepped up to the counter and gave the attendant on the other side my name. After being given the keys to the jeep, Joyce and I walked out of the airport to the parking lot where the

"You can hold the box." I answered with a nod and handed over the small item over to my daughter. Hands nervously shaking. What if I was seeing things people? What if this somehow how to do with the First? No! It couldn't be. She was too physical looking. She looked older, mature and sad. It just couldn't... And then she said my name. For some reason, the way it was said, I just knew it was Tara. Tara wh o promised to explain things that right now, I didn't much care for. "Tara!" I nearly squeeled and I perpelled myself towards her. Grabbing the taller blonde in a tight hug and holding onto her. Of all the people that deserved to be alive, she was one of them and I was thankful to see and now feel her

A big ole smile spread across my features when our eyes locked. I quickly set my suitcase down on the ground just as Buffy reached me and pulled me into a hug. I could not help but laugh after her overly-excited show of affection, not that it wasn't welcome, cause it most certainly was.
It's grand to see you too, Buffy!" I said happily returning the embrace. Damn if this wasn't going to be one big reunion. I could just see it now, all of us staying up to all hours of the night reminiscing of old times and trying to get caught up with all that had been happening in each others lives.
"I see you brought Jane with you." I gave a smile to Jane as I looked to her over Buffy's shoulder when Buffy finally decided to release me from her hug.
"So who is your friend?" I asked, nodding to the blonde who's back was still to me. The one Buffy had been in conversation with when I arrived.
There was nothing at all like an apocalypse to bring a family together. Even long lost members of one. I just wouldn't say this and have everyone a little more jittery than I assumed they had to be. "I missed you." I whispered to Dawn, pulling away to look over at her, again. Often finding myself just amazed at how much she looks like mom and not me

Well, I got more finals tomorrow, so I'm gonna go to bed, but we definately need to pick this up tomorrow. Sorry to have to stop the party, although I doubt I stopped the whole party, if you consider this a party, in which case, we would all be weird and needing more interesting lives, with more interesting parties. Hopefully with boys and girls and music and food, and I just realized that this entire comment just got extremely off topic and weird at the same time. I need to stop. *looks at Liz* You should have stopped me!
You're supposed to stop me when I do that! - Willow, season 3. I like it when you do that. Oz, season 3.
Ok now that i've babbled and quoted. I'm off to sleep. Talk to you guys later.
