No matter how much she tries to deny it or cause me to think otherwise, I know Anya is hiding the fact that she is a demon. I just know it

I didn't want to stay in my room for another second. It was just too hard... it was just too much. There were so many things going through my mind at the moment that I didn't want to stay in my room to analyze it and pace back and forth in my room wearing out the carpet like some lab rat running around her cage in circles all afternoon. I hadn't even been able to bring myself to erase Wesley's message on my machine and just staring at the blinking LCD screen with the words 'ONE OLD MESSAGE' made my stomach turn. And I couldn't believe that I had just compared myself to a rat. I definitely needed a change of scenery

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! I wasn't looking. I didn't mean to step all over your books there..."
Oh Goddess. As if me falling and dropping everything wasn't enough, now I'd caused another to do the same.
A small nervous giggle escaped me as I felt the warm familiar flush heat my cheeks and I dropped my head forward, letting my hair cascade over my face to shield it from view.
"N-no, I, um...." I finally looked up to meet her equally embarrassed gaze. "..i-it's my fault actually. You w-wouldn't have fallen if m-my books weren't..."
I looked away again, trailing off as I grabbed at a few more scattered papers.
"Here, let me help you with that,"I offered a small smile and nodded in appreciation and we managed to get everything gathered up

I felt so totally bad. Stepping on all her books and stuff. How much more of a klutz could I be? She seemed to be so embarrassed about the whole thing, and the fact that we could hear the giggles behind us wasn't helping one bit.
"N-no, I, um.... i-it's my fault actually. You w-wouldn't have fallen if m-my books weren't..."
"Seriously, don't worry about it. Knowing me, I would have probably tripped on my own two feet," I said giggling.
Finally we had gathered everything up from the floor. At least the laughter behind us had subsided somewhat. We both finally stood up, and I finally got a good look at her face as she brushed her hair off of her face.
"T-thank you. F-for, um helping me? Sorry that y-you had to fall as well. I'm pretty clumsy and d-don't pay much attention to where I'm going.""Oh, gee, don't mention it, you would have done the same anyway, right? And I'm clumsy too, I couldn't even begin to tell you the times I've tripped in this place. It's like uneven or something," I said with almost laughing
