It rained today and made me so happy! Steve says I'm like that song - I'm Only Happy When It Rains - but I told her I'm happy a lot more than that. I think she's confusing herself with me, but that's okay ( Read more... )

Why not ask Collin? I'm sure he can come up with some very interesting ideas. *grin*

I'd send you a kitty if there were a way. Do virtual pets count?

I'm not sure Sir's ideas of "interesting" are the same as mine.

Kitties are nice... I miss having kittens... All my cats are grown up and fat and lazy now. But they're still fun to sit with, especially when its cold and rainy out.

I like any kind of kitty: young, old, fat, skinny. I just think they're so soothing and OH MY GOODNESS THE KITTY IN YOUR ICON IS THE PRETTIEST EVER.

Thats my cat when he was only a little baby. 7 weeks old, I believe. Isn't he adorable?

I live in Mexico and we have a tradition similar to that homework. You make funny rhymes describing the way you think someone is going to pass away. It involves the person in question, Death (co-starring) and a funny situation, using the person's hobbies or favorite things. We call them "Calaveras" (skulls).

It's kind of hard to describe because it's sounds cruel, but it's not. And, as a matter of fact, you only do them for those you like and love. If you get one, it means the person who gave it to you dedicated time, effort and bothered to find what you like, even if s/he is laughing at you a little (and their rhyming leaves much to be desired, which happens quite often). The trick here is that they have to be funny. It's all part of the Day of the Dead celebration.

I knew a girl who celebrated Day of the Dead every year by wearing one of those skull mask thingies and a ... um. What do you call it in your country? A sarape? She always wore a pretty one.

My English teacher likes to assign "creative" homework. Sometimes it scares me.

A few Hallowe'ens ago, I got this fake Head Stone for lawn decoration, and it said
"As I was, You Are Now
As I am, You Shall Be."

I thought that was incredibly awesome, and have wanted that as my epitaph ever since then. Not too personal and vaguely amusing. How people generally find me, so that works, lol.
But then again I want a Viking funeral for no other reason then I really liked the movie Rocket Gibraltar, so you probably shouldn't listen to anything I have to say concerning post-death affairs.

I like Halloween. Any time I can dress up as something other than myself is a good day.

Well, it is a weird assigment. Never had to wright my epitath.

My sister is better not to have written mine. I'm getting cremated anyways.

We had a rainy summer in Montreal. My friends and I were sgning that all the time and dancing. While all the people around us were running to cover. Don't let the WATER touch you!

I get lots of weird assignments in that class. My teacher thinks it makes us ready for college. I have my doubts.
