Well you know how I wasn't feeling well? I saw my Doctor and yup, not a cold but my old friend sinusitis. So I can't visit my dad for a few days.

It sounds on track for my experience with people who come through surgery well.

And seriously, all the germs are at hospital. Home is good.

He's bound to be happier at home, as long as there is somebody to help in the first couple of weeks.

Did the hospital staff say anything about his diet? Reduce fats, cut down hard on meat meals, increase vegetables and fruit etc?

I hope he gets well soon (and you too!)
