Alex finished his shift at the Stake House, and made his way home to the apartment. It had been a long day, and he was weary. Truth be told, he was tired a lot lately- and he couldn't quite figure out why. He hadn't had any bad dreams or visions in a while, but his body felt like it was gearing up for something. He didn't trust it at all.
He opened the door to the apartment, and sniffed. The pleasant smell of chocolate drifted through the air. "Hey," he called to Frankee. "What smells so good?"
"About five million calories, and all of them made from chocolatey goodness." Frankee said in response, getting up from the sofa where he had been waiting to give Alex a big hug. It felt like he hadn't seen him properly in forever, even though they had shared the same living space Frankee hadn't really felt like he'd been here. That was until tonight when Alex came home. He'd never been so glad to see him.
"Now, would you like chocolate, chocolate, or chocolate?"
"Okay, well, we'll have chocolate for starters, and then follow it up with some chocolate for main course, and then maybe something different for desert?" Frankee joked. "Make yourself comfortable, I'll bring you some cocoa and muffins."
Frankee rushed into the kitchen area and pour out a couple of mugs of hot chcolatey goodness. He returned with a tray containing two cocoas, and a plate full of muffins. "I hope you're hungry." He said, realising he may have gone slightly overboard.

"That's a tough decision," Alex said, pretending to ponder carefully. "I think I'll have to go with - chocolate. No, wait... make that chocolate."
