Mere had gotten there a little early. The only time that she showed up early for anything was gigs of some sort. Usually of the musical variety, but this was just a gig where she spoke instead of sang and played guitar. She had already made herself a cup of coffee and helped herself to a doughnut.

"I'm doing alright," she said with a smile. She had her lines memorized and everything. "Sure, slight case of nerves, but nothing too big or anything."

"Glad to hear it," Valentine said, giving her a smile. He munched a chunk of his doughnut and glanced around to the others.

"Are we missing some cast members?" he asked. This being Sunnydale, he hoped they were just late and it wasn't a more permanent situation.

"Hello, I'm late, I'm sorry, I just could not get myself out of the house on time!"

Sherry strolled in, Starbucks in hand, and a tote bag was slung over her shoulder, containing the script and other essentials.

"Don't worry. I'm sure that they will be showing up soon enough," Mere said. Yes, missing people in Sunnydale was a cause for worry, but it shouldn't be the first thing leaped to.

Sure enough, another cast member strolled in. "Don't worry. You're definitely not the latest here."

Juice skittered in, wearing his shades and looking like a rockstar - at least in his own mind.

"I am TOTALLY ready for this," he said, waving to his costars.

Mere waved back to Juice. "Good to hear it. I think we're all pretty ready, too." At least it sounded that way from what Sherry and Valentine were saying. "I can't wait to get started."

The Director's assistant, a cheerfully plump man who looked like he might have once had a decent figure before getting into show business, trotted on through, carrying a copy of the script, and mumbling to himself as he went. "... and then they discover the flayed corpse... "

"Yay flayed corpses," Juice said cheerfully.
