Emil headed out of the classroom and into the hall, planning to head for the teachers lounge and his lunch.

He stopped short when he saw Dante out there on the bench, walking over and resting a hand on her shoulder. "Hello," he said quietly. "Did you come to see me?"

As if there were some other reason she'd be there...

Lifting her head, and opening her eyes, Dante looked up at him and nodded. "Yeah ... things were just ... I needed to get away for a while. You know?" Standing, shoving her thumbs in the pockets of her jeans she asked, "So, ummm ... how long do you have for lunch?"

"About an hour," Emil said, smiling. "Perhaps longer if I play hooky. Where would you like to go?"

He didn't drive still, but there were many places within walking distance.
