My first day of work, well, training, was actually fun. Its a really nice bar. More like a lounge really. I could see us hanging out there. Like the Bronze. I learned how to mix some drinks and how to do it fast. Speed's never really been an issue for me, but its kindof hard to whip those bottles around all fancy-like. I broke a few, but McKayla

After pulling my car keys from my jacket packet, I go to open the driver side door then stop, as my name is spoken. I turn and face the direction it came from, than see her....Buffy Summers.
“Oh--my--god. Buffy?”

"I knew you lived around here somewhere."
I smiled. Even though we had our differences in the past, she was different. She had changed for the better.
"How have you been? Hows the whole 'Angel Investigations' thing going?

“Good, actually. Uh, I haven’t really been back on the job that long....but it’s not really something you forget how to do." I pause. "I take it the whole....’Slayer’ thing is working out well for you. Seeing as how....you know, you’re still alive and all-- That came out wrong.”
I shrug it off, not bothering to fix the statement....I’d probably just make it worse. But isnt that the best way to judge a Slayers work? Dead=bad, alive=good.
“It’s great to see you...really.”
And I meant that...
“You just in town for a while or are you a new full-time resident?”
She lived here before...so I guess ‘new’ was sort of--wrong...

I didnt take Cordelia's 'wrong' statement to heart. I knew what she meant.
"Hows everybody here? I dont even know everyone. But I guess we'll be seeing quite a bit of eachother now that we're all in the same town again."
I remembered that the hotel that they had been running Angel Investigations got blown up or something.
"Where are you guys working from? Didnt the Hyperion blow up or something?"
