::I was really more focused on driving rather then listening to what Abby was saying. I mean I didn't know Gunn, but he was a member of the AI team. I know a few of them like Angel, Wes and Cordelia. Then this green guy with horns who could read you...turns out you have to sing in order for that to work. Uh Lorne. Then there was Fred. Who I can't really wait to meet her. I have heard that she is really the brains of the team which explains why they have had there business running so long. Then Gunn. I believe that was it. There was another guy but he died. Even though I wasn't paying much attention to Abby I did hear her give her answer::

"They're uh....use to me being out at all hours of the night."::Was this girl for real!. She was like 15..I think and her rents let her stay out all hours of the night....okay well I am gonna have to meet them, maybe then can convince Buffy to lighten up but I highly doubt it. Parents who let there kids out all hours of the night...do they even exist? I haven't meet any. I mean even ones who do let ( ... )

"Well, that's good of your parents then. Long as they aren't going to worry cause that never ends will..cause with the lectures and grounding that is normally soon to follow""Uh-huh ( ... )

::I followed along behind Abby which was a lil bit odd, I thought she just got to LA how did she know this place so well. That's something I will ponder the thought of later. Right now I was more worried about finding Nicole. Not to mention knowing how Gunn was doing. I felt bad that I couldn't be with Nicole I mean I had to bring the car cause I couldn't just leave it there. So as much as I know Gunn is hurting and such my first priority is getting to my best friend. We dealt with death all the time in Sunnydale but it's alot harder when it's someone you know. Abby reached the reception desk and I walked up beside her as Abby was saying bout being Gunn's adopted sister from England. Boy this girl must really like to lie::

"His name's...uh...Gunn. Th-that's what Nicole called him anyway."::I gave her an odd look and knew she couldn't have been Gunn's adopted sister just cause she was a bit hasty on giving his name. Just as Abby finishes trying to think of his name a voice comes up from behind giving his name. I didn't have to look I ( ... )

"A flipping out Buffy is definitely not of the good. With the whole 'being-grounded-for-two-weeks' thing, I'm guessing 'Come straight home after school' was part of the ground-age list of do's and donts ( ... )

I had really fallen asleep on thay couch. Id never really noticed just how comfortable it was! I heard the phone ringing, so I had to force my self to get up. I went to answer it. Wondering who it was.

"Hello?"

"Yes I know I am late"

"Late doesnt even begin to cover it Dawn."

She wsa supposed to be home right after school. It was now...

*looks at clock*

Six o' clock.

After she had finished her whole deal about why she was late, it gave me a chance to say something.

"Dawn, you are three hours late. There's been this invention called the phone and I see that you've just recently found that out in the past few moments. Why didnt you call earlier? I have half the mind to ground you for another two weeks!!"

Then I thought about how she was helping Gunn. He was a friend of Angel and the gang. So inherently, he was a friend of mine.

"...but I can let this one go..."

"Be home as soon as you can. I dont want to be up all night worried about you."

It was true. When she was out, I worried and couldnt sleep. God, Nicole at our house again? Talk about an all night giggle-fest.

"And sure, Nicole can stay over. As long as you two get some sleep."

What was I saying? Letting Nicole stay over on a school night? Oh well, theyre seniors, I guess I could go a little easier on them as long as they got their work done.

"Be home as soon as you can. I dont want to be up all night worried about you."

::I rolled my eyes, knowing that Buffy couldn't see that but she does worry alot, which sometimes can be a good thing because that way if something ever did happen to me where I didn't come home she would probably come out looking for me. But generally when I am out I do call and let someone know. It's usually not a big deal but it is to her.::

"I will be home when I can. It's just we still haven't heard anything from Gunn. They keep saying he is still knocked out or they would have let Nicole in there by now. But still really no word."

::It's odd how know one from AI has come yet. Guess they haven't got the message...knowing Angel I am sure he hasn't gotten it. But I do want to get out of here soon. Hospitals give me the wiggins.::

"And sure, Nicole can stay over. As long as you two get some sleep."::I let out a small squee!. It seems Buffy is really giving me some space. Plus I also think it's cause since Nicole is over she wont have to worry about ( ... )

"But still really no word."

I really hoped that Gunn was going to be alright. I knew how much he meant to the whole Angel crew. He was a fighter.

"And please don't worry."

Yeah, like that helped any.

"I'll try not to worry. But if anything happens, you'd better call and let me know."

I sighed as Nikki was thrown back into the waiting room for what seemed like the 50th time. Performing the same action over and over and expecting a different outcome...that has to count as mild insanity right?

With Nicole busy trying to get passed the doctors and into the E.R, and with Dawn busy on the phone, I decided it was best if I took my leave. If I left now it would go unrecognized, plus I could avoid being asked any questions I couldn't--or wouldn't answer.

Grabbing my backpack up off the floor, I sling it over my shoulder and slip away quietly.

::After hanging up with Buffy. I closed my cell phone and put it back into my jeans pocket then took a deep breath and let it out then walked over to Nicole who had no luck at getting into the E.R. I felt really bad. I mean in a way I kinda know Gunn but definitely not how Nicole and Angel's team new him. I really hope we hear something very soon.I walked up to Nicole and put my arm onto her shoulder ( ... )
