Returning Back Home Once Again......

I pulled into the driveway not long after hanging up with Nicole. I turned off the truck and pulled my keys out of the ignition. I then got out and made sure the doors were locked. I then made my way to the front door. I hadn't seen any other vehicles in the laneway cept for Buffy's so I guess she was home...that could be a good or a bad thing..I

While in the shower with Spike, i heard Dawn's voice through the door. More of a mood killer than anything else. I cut the shower short and apologized to Spike. I had to talk to Dawn. It was long overdue that I talked to her about the whole hitting her situation. Turning the water off, I dried myself with a towel and put on the shorts and shirt that I had taken out of my drawer. With lightly towel dried hair, I made my way to Dawn's room. Knocking on the door..

"Dawnie?"

"It's open"

I was had just finished up a note for English and I opened up Nicole's Bio notebook and looked at the first note. Introduction to Biology...ugh why do they start out with this..all the time Intro to something or other. I had one of my fuzzy pens that Nicole had gave me a few years ago but you could buy refills for it..so I kept using it just cause..well face it, it was adorable and also stylish...and yet it was a pen. I looked up as the door opened and my sister walked in.

"Oh, uh it's you...hey. I didn't do anything wrong I swear!. I left the hospital and came home then I went out and tracked down a girl from school who was also with us at the hospital to see how she was doing honest that's all. Now I am doing school work see!."

Okay so it wasn't 100% truth, I left out the part that the girl I met was actually your daughter from the future...that is something I don't plan on telling Buffy anytime soon, nor the fact that I had a vision like thing either.

I smiled nervously.

"No, I know you didnt do anything."

I came into the room more and sat in a chair that she had in there.

"I was kinda hoping we could, you know, talk?"

I looked at Buffy who took a seat in my comfy chair that was semi in the corner. Not to far from the desk that I was sitting at. This is a pretty decent size room. I mean it's the whole attic after all. I looked to a smaller desk mirror I had sitting up just above my computer monitor and saw how the bruise was still on my face. It wasn't as bad as it was from day one but you could still see it was there.

"Talk....uh, I guess. Also...why do I have new sheets. If they are an early christmas or birthday present....you seriously owe me something better. Also probably should think about channel surfing more often rather then stopping at Martha Stewart....just a thought."

I went back to writing a note. I really didn't want to talk about the fact that she hit me. I have to wear the mark...isn't that punishment enough?
