Okay, so now we had Cordelia, Fred, Nikki and Gunn here. Upstairs was Buffy and Dawn (and I think perhaps Spike). Not sure if anyone called Giles or not. But it was getting closer ( Read more... )

Willow's chipper disposition and all her running around was kind of...odd, and also making me dizzy. I didnt know that kind of pep was possible at such a late hour. I wounder if her kind of perkiness can be bought over the counter. Or maybe its magically enduced... Speaking or which...

I stuffed my hand into my jacket pocket and pulled out the two mojo-workin necklaces I had purchased earlier that night along with the incantation, then sat everything down on the coffee table.

"Merry Christmas, Will. Figure you can find....something to do with those. Word to the wise, make sure the person your using that on has had a nap beforehand, if not you'll just be setting yourself up for a big heap of cranky."

Hearing Willow call to me as I was walking down the stairs, I came all the way out of the stairway. Faking a smile, I walked into the livingroom. Sitting on the couch and grabbing some chips that she had layed out.

"Everyone here?"

I looked around.

I looked around the room. Everyone but Wesley and Angel from the side I called.

"Um Buff, no Wes or Angel." I whispered to her. Other than that? Cordelia, Fred, and one hell of a beat up looking Gunn.

"What about Dawn? Spike? Anyone missing from your group?"

Leaning in towards Willow, I whispered back.

"Dawn's, uh...gone. And Spike? I dont know where he is. Last I knew he was in my bedroom."

I was worried about Dawn. As soon as we got all of this together we'd be set to figure out how to fight that demon thing that attacked me.

I grimaced when Willow said Wesley's name, and from the corner of my eye I could see Fred was a bit shaken by it too.

"Um, I think you can cross Wesley of the invite list..."

I bit the inside of my cheek and sighed. My eyes shot open after hearing a comment in an all too familiar sarcastic tone.

"And any other list he might be on for that matter.", Nikki quipped from her seat on the arm of the couch.

I shot her a quick look, and she merely shrugged.

Uh-huh. Her. Here. Definitely an idea of the bad variety.
