X-mas break has arrived just in time to refill my subscription of sanity

Finals are over. Finally, the semester ends. Grades are posted Tuesday, or maybe Wednesday, and I feel fairly confident that I'll either get a 4.0 or something fairly close. I think I'll at least make it on the Dean's List. It's about time all that study time paid off ( Read more... )

I'm glad you saw my post for what it was an attempt at ... turning negative assumptions into positiveness? or something like that. Anyway, thanks again for the nice comment.

Sorry I haven't talked to you in a while, but it sounds like you've been pretty busy yourself over the past few months ... congrats on everything! You're making quite a life for yourself and you're learning everything along the way. You're kind of like a self-taught businessman! Very impressive!

Anyway, I'm gonna run and try to finish laundry and put up the Christmas tree today, I just wanted to respond w/ a quick little note saying thanks. Hope your holiday is great and the food is even better ;)

btw...20 year olds aren't all out to get high and drunk, i guess we're just not as "perfect" as you!!!

I don't know who posted that but I am in no way saying that all 20 year olds are all out to get high and/or drunk and I am not saying I am perfect. I'm just saying, I don't seem to enjoy these activities as much as the majority of the college population. If you would have read more than the first paragraph, you would have seen that I SAY that I'm not perfect. So I don't know what you are trying to prove? Sounds like someone might be a tad bit jealous?

Katie, no offense but you are taking things kind of far. i agree with whoever posted that, it did sound like you were saying 20 year olds only drink and get high, "not to feel the pain", and that is simply not true. you are stereotyping people. And i know you think that amanda and i have tried in the past to "mold" you into what we want, but that is wrong as well. this post was a bash to several people whether or not you meant to directly. And that fact that you said "jealous" to that person, kind of silly. sometimes not all of your thouhgs and feelings should be posted, as you said before, you are trying to look at things from other people's points of view, and this time you should have taken thta into consideration. you are free to post whatever you want, but sometimes you just say things that are inappropriate.

Ok, so if everyone that is so opposed to me writing this post would notice, please take the time to notice that i am not BASHING anyone who DOES drink or get high or whatever ... I'm just saying that unlike the stereotypical 20 year old, I just don't enjoy it as much. I'm not saying that whoever does it is "bad". I'm just saying that I personally don't enjoy going out as much as I used to. THAT IS ALL
