There is a great relief I have sometimes, when I realize I will never have to take a test again (assuming I get tenure and don't have to consider some other career option, I guess^^;)
I think it was the despair of having studied so hard and still feeling like I knew nothing. Add that to the fact that I experienced test anxiety for the first time ever and that was probably the reason I felt the test went badly.
*sigh* nothing to do but start studying for the next test earlier, right? Like I should have started, oh, um, at the beginning of the term? ^^;;
I really hope so, but we'll see. Cases and thinking critically like a clinician should is fun and interesting BUT not on a test where everything I thought I knew, I didn't.

Sorry to hear that. In the past I didn't do as badly on an exam as I thought. Hope that'll be the same for you.
I'd leave a longer comment but I'm at the airport. Will try to send you a postcard.
