I did! But a bit too much crowded for my taste XD Also, try and go to see the Military Tattoo! It's amazing! :) If you like museums: The National Gallery and the Scottish Portrait gallery are amazing. Of course, the Castle is a must see as well as well as the Holyrood palace (just keep on walking on the Royal mile and you'll find it) and the Queen's gallery (if you like paintings, it totally worth the 5 pounds) And if you like sweets, may I suggest you the "Patisserie Valerie"? Their stawberry cakes and chocolate cakes are a true delight :D
Thanks very much for the tips! I went to the Castle yesterday and to Holydroodhouse today. Both very interesting and beautiful. There are no tickets anymore for the Tattoo, so that's a no-go for me, but I am going to another festival show tomorrow, a comedy thing about books. I'm curious. The Royal Mile is indeed very very busy with the street artist, almost annoying. But I don't let them dampen my wonderful holiday spirit so far!
YES! It was beautiful and the people are so warm and kind :D I really enjoyed the National Gallery & the Scottish Portrait Gallery. And I went twice to the "Patisserie Valerie" XD I also went to the Military Tattoo. It was fantastic :)
