It's sad that there's no preventative measures for that health care problem, aside from seeking counseling or therapy. Lots of help AFTER something bad has happened...

And it's interesting how "non-judgemental" the drs have to be. And sad that the author is scared of reprisal.

I have always been against the idea of being non-judgemental. There is a difference between saying, "There are no boundaries." and saying, "As long as you aren't hurting anyone, you have the right to do anything." There is also a big difference between having a right to do something, and that something being a good idea.

I get the impression that the book is all about a return to a more mundane existence, never bothering to ask the more difficult questions of when a threesome might be good for you, and when it might not be. What makes a kink good for one person, and not good for another? Answers considerably more nuanced than, "Just don't do it."
