I share your problems with the last name situation, though mine is only four letters. But it's German and when mispronounced can sound like a crass term for male genatalia. It's awesome to go to a restaurant and have that called out in front of a group of people.
Also, HUMMUS!!! ♥
Random facts about me:
1. I do not know how to drive a manual transmission. 2. One of my favourite memories is eating spanikopita in Greece. 3. I am an incurable insomniac. 4. In a perfect world, I would be a baseball analyst for ESPN.
ROFL! That's awkward!! Don't worry though - I know someone whose surname is Ramsbottom. O_o
A baseball analyst? That's unusual! Hmm, in a perfect world I think I would be married to a gorgeous guy right now who had lots of money so we could go on all kinds of awesome overseas trips together!!
I don't even know what Humus is, I'll remember to lok for it later.
1 - Even thought I believe completely in Male/female equality, I wouldn't mind being a stay at home mum.
2 - I didn't know what career to choose when I finished Highschool and now I don't like what I choose. So depressing.
3 - I LOVE trashy food. All kinds. Though I'm not overly fat, I'm not as slim as I'd like but my body could be a lot worse having in mind all the candies I put in :S
Ooh, you have a twin! That's awesome!! Are you identical twins? Are you really close? Mmm, junk food:-D I am also a sucker for all things sweet and bad for me...trying to be good at the moment though:-P And I would love to be a stay at home Mum - I enjoy what I do but I don't want to work full time - I think part time in a private practice would be ideal;-)
Humus is a DELICIOUS Greek chickpea pate - doesn't sound amazing I know but it is REALLY addictive! It's especially nice with veggies or even just on toast;-)
Yes! We are really close, we both moved from Tenerife to Barcelona and we are sharing the flat, so for the last 4 years it has been just as. We are really lucky because we both like the same things. Tv shows, books, movies... I mean, there are some shows that we don't agree on liking/dislaking but we both like TV that much.
Oh, and yes, we are identical twins. When we were little it was a lot more difficult but now I don't think it is that difficult to distinguish us because my sister dyed her hair black so there's that. But some people still call me by her name or her by mine...
I do try to be good, too, the summer being so close and all, but it's difficult.
Humus, sounds GREAT. I do love my toast with pate.
Ah that's so awesome!! It's basically like having a soul mate by the sounds of it:-) That's very special;-) I have 2 older brothers but I don't see much of them unfortunately. I love them both dearly but they were always so much older than me at school (7 and 5 years older) that it's only really in the last few years that we've started to actually become friends and get closer, so what you have with your sister is very special;-D Heh - our winter is approaching and I tend to eat more in winter:-P Sigh...
Okay.. lets see. 1. I love talking to myself. I actually do it all the time because it is so entertaining. I mostly speak English then, to practice, of course. (Yeah, call me insane or whatever.) 2. All I drink it diet coke. Almost. I can't stand water, only in school or when I'm doing sports. Wehn I'm at home I mostly drink coke, very unhealthy, I know. 3. I'm one of those persons who embarrasses herself very often but I learned to live with it by now. 4. I always make up stories in my mind and imagine what it would be like to really be in this situation, etc.
I don't know if they were interesting but I hope so.. ;)
Heh - I do 1 and 4 as well!! I've actually gotten funny looks before because I've been walking along talking to myself without even realising it!! And all my flatmates have always comments that I talk to myself a lot!
