Gordon Jackson plays a solicitor, Noel Strachan, in this mini-series. I have been searching for DVDs of this for years and finally found it, although it seems to be made from video tape; very disappointing. Wow. I loved that mini-series all those years ago when it was on TV. But all I remembered of it was bits of the Australia parts. I had no idea Gordon Jackson was in it! Thank you for the blast from the past. *g*

It's a great feeling, stumbling onto something you've kept an eye out for, for years.

The story certainly sounds familiar and the Morse/Brown era in general, but I would not have guessed GJ had a starring role (although it looks like he shone, as usual). Aww, and unrequited feelings! ..Lucky he's still got the wee dram. :D

This also made me recall parts of the mini-series Tenko (from some time back).

Great pictures from a series I really enjoyed when it was on TV. I loved the original film as well starring Peter Finch (had a crush on Vincent Ball) and the book is a classic. Thanks a lot!
