*smishes Bobby for making stew Sam would like*
*smishes Dean because he's smishable*
It's chilling to think that now!Sam wouldn't feel much of anything, though. (I'm personally really nervous, but not in a totally bad way, about Sam going dark - I think he's been compromised since the start of the season, and it's progressing rapidly...as much as it pains me to see, I also think it is fascinating.)

I share your nerves. I'd actually be fine with the darkside thing on two conditions. First, that it doesn't wind up being nasty, demon-blood Sam being saved by friend-of-angels Dean. I want Dean to help Sam tap back into his innate, inner goodness and save himself.
And second, I don't want a cliffhanger. Please, please Kripke, wrap this up! After a season of brothers at odds, I'd really appreciate resolution. (hee hee! No pun intended.)

I can't imagine them making Dean the magic-hero-who-saves-all. All along, they've made it a point to have Sam talk about making choices, and so far he's made many wrong ones. Not that he can be blamed - I think the second he agreed to train with Ruby, the evil started seeping in. It's just taking longer with him than with the other special kids because Ruby wants his fall controlled for some reason. (IMO) Long story short - in the end, it's going to have to be his choice, and Dean's there to either help him make it or finish it all.
Also, I could really live without the angels. I get the dichotomy they're going for, I don't need it painted for me.

Yes, get Sam's stubborn up - that works so well.
I love how you've nailed the characters and brought in little details (Bobby's stew!)that make them sparkle.
Good job! Thank you!
