I think I want to marry that line I love it so much.
Great chapter, you scared me for poor little Sammy, luckily for him he has the bestest big bro to take care of him. Can't wait for the last part :)

Well, wow, when I saw the Secret Santa prompt over at the SFTCOL(AR)S board, I thought "that would be really difficult to write", but you make it look effortless! I love your imagery and your characterisation. Both boys just seem very much like them. I love that you've taken that one thing from the end of Bloody Mary (Sam seeing Jess) and actually put it in some kind of context and given it meaning (I've always wished the show would have done something with that). I love that Dean sees Jess too. Did I mention the seizures? Yeah, I kind of adore them too.
Looking forward to the final part (and kind of apprehensive about my own Secret Santa fic now...). <3

Great first part and good description of Dean panicking and calling 911, and thank goodness he did.
Loved the first part of the next scene with Dean waiting for news, slowly going 'bat-shit' - nice description!
"He's in good hands, Dean."
He nodded, taking another sip. "You may be right. But they're not my hands."
Yup, he doesn't trust anyone else with Sam, not even a neurosurgeon!
"Our mom died when Sam was six months old. He's been mine ever since." He's been mine ever since. Oh, Dean. That sums up so much.
Totally love Dr. DePaola. "Dude, I'm nearly thirty. Not to mention I'm a frickin' prodigy." ROTFL!
Lovely description at the end of Dean at Sam's bedside, taking his hand after a brief hesitation. Sam'll rib him about that when he wakes up!
So now I'm anxious to see where Jess's ghost fits into all this and how you're going to finish it in only one more part.
