Description: He wasn't that bewildered little boy anymore, constantly asking when Mommy was coming home, searching for her in the shabby little apartment, the grocery store, the mall. Post-ep for "Home."

That was beautiful.

You wrote the characters perfectly in character, the moment was wonderfully touching. I got all emotional!

Perfectly balanced between the two of them too. Very well done. :D

I'm really glad they sounded in character to you. That's something I really work hard at, and I had some struggles with it on this fic. And I'm so glad this felt balanced between the two. I love both boys, and they both had an awful lot to deal with after this ep. I wouldn't want to short-change either one.

Wow - this fic really touched me deep inside. It's so full...of everything. Thank you for writing this, I adore this story! I love Dean remembering his Mom, his feelings seeing her again - the feelings Sam is going through - you catched all of this in a wonderful written way.

It was interesting doing a first season post-ep, knowing all we do now. This has always been one of my favorite episodes, so I'm glad you enjoyed my take on the aftermath. Thanks so much for letting me know.

I don't know what inspired you to go back to season 1 to write a tag for Home, but I am very glad you did. Lovely job - all sorts of wonderful details that I'd wanted to see in the show and had niggled at me. Sam actually being sore and bruised after being tossed like a ragdoll, the boys' very different but so believable reactions to seeing Mary again, the first inklings of how to deal (or not) with the psychic thing. You'd pulled it all together so nicely.

To be honest, I'm not sure either. It's a favorite ep of mine, and I'd always wanted to do a fic covering the aftermath. Sammy is just so...broken when talking to Missouri at the end. And Dean's face when he sees Mary... Oh, boys
