color and design midterm

somehow, midterms encroached upon me without notice. i worked for 14 hours on my color and design midterm project today. i'm really pleased with the turnout so far, although i am not completely done. i took step-by-step photos 'cus i'm a huge nerd like that

After all these years I still am amazed by your talent! I think I've known you for a while as one of the most creative people I know and have never met.

I really think it looks amazing! Although I don't know much about art, I think it looks awesome and the line looks fine!

I think the line is alright. I kinda see what you mean with the chola thing, haha, but I think it needs to be there, how else would you define the lip more? Adding more of a gradient or whatever (I'm bad with art terms), like how your shoulder is, wouldn't make it look right, I think.

thank you! it's basically a big paint by numbers.... there is no way i could paint that without the guidelines!

i definitely think i'm going to play around with the gradient, or maybe make the line lighter so it doesn't pop out as much. :)

omg so awesome. i think your lips look fine because i don't know how else you would define the lip line anymore, unless you made all of the colors in your lip like one shade darker.. or something.. i don't know what i'm talking about.

thanks! yeah, i'm thinking of maybe just making the line a lighter shade, so it flows better.
