Nonsensical observations and ramblings

Okay, so I'm now at home when the parental units have about three million TV channels for me to peruse through. A whole block of these are music channels (MTV2, VH1 Classics, VH1 Hits, Fuse, etc.). Needless to say, I'm now watching a lot more music videos than I have in the past, considering MTV and VH1 barely even PLAY music videos anymore. Anyhoo ( Read more... )

This is true! Ramune and Pocky are like anime fan crack. One dose, and you can't live without 'em. I, in fact, have a a few bottles of Ramune in the fridge and some Pocky in a cabinet. However, with all of Gwen's Japanese-overdosing lately, I'm just waiting for either of the two to show up in a video or something.

Courtney Love has her own manga? *ish confused*

I miss you~!

Hey~! Check this out: one of my relatives has a condo in Tahoe that they don't use like EVAR so why don't you and I like, you know, use it one weekend this summer? It would be a BLAST. Lemme know what you think.

*hugglefucks*

Yup, Courtney's manga is called "Princess Ai", which chronicles the adventures of a Sailormoon-esque princess who is a rock star while on earth. Add a heavy dollop of EGL fashion sense, you get the gist of what's going on. Haven't read it yet, but as it is from the drug-addled brain of Courtney Love, I have my reservations.

I miss you too! I got a bunh of pics developed yesterday with some JLC shot on them. I was flipping through them while in Kenn's truck and saw them, and screamed: "Eee! Joy Luck Club joy!" ^_^

I'd love to do Tahoe with ya! That would be so much fun! Of course, I could be the only one who could gamble, but Tahoe's so frickin' cool, we could rustle up some other good stuff to do.

*allows herself to be hugglefucked* ;)

ANY of the Indy Jones flicks? Come on now, it's the first one or it's nothing... That second one made NO sense as a prequel (plus Cate Capshaw, that homewrecker, was annoying) and the second one was just too slapstick. Nice motorcycle crash, though. I pray to God the rumors of a 4th Indy Jones film are not true. Ford's like, what, EIGHTY now???

Yes, yes, the first one is still my favorite. But all three have their merits! Number 2 was cool because of the banquet scene with the monkey brains and the chase sequence in the mine, and number was cool because Sean Connery was in it and like...dude, it's Sean Connery! He's incredibly cool!

But yeah, Cate Capshaw is incredibly annoying in #2. And Speilberg fall in love with her as a result. Go fig.

I've heard rumor about #4 too, but I am concerned for Harrison Ford's age. Maybe it'll be called "Indiana Jones and Quest for the Kidney Stone" or something. ;)

Those channels are so repetitive... I don't see how the guys who operate them can stand to listen to some inane drivel all day long. Oh well... and about the whole Gwen Japan thing; yeah, it's getting a bit out of hand. Going to a country for a summer does not make it your property. And the use of "super Kawaii!" is cringeworthy.

Yeah, I can understand being so inspired by a place that you want to write a song or two about it, but putting a mention of it in every song and video? Oi...
