Does anyone have any experience with early withdrawal from classes due to medical reasons? I need help with this. I just emailed my academic adviser but I'm not sure what she'll say, she's not too experienced at advising it sounds

Expect them to be pretty understanding, actually. Withdrawal from classes for medical, family, and psychological reasons are all common reasons.
I'd say if you hear back negatively the first time, find an ombudsman or administrator at your school (typically the Dean of your school holds ultimate authority). If you are paying tuition, as opposed to an assistantship, there should be no problems whatsoever.
Yeah I'm paying tuition and its mostly all through stafford loans, the rest outta pocket.
I've emailed my advisor but no word back yet. Only been a day I guess. I just dont know if what I have is good enough and being that they're in san jose (mostly) that could take a while. But my doc is cool and will give me whatever they say I need and I can just call her about it since she's already seen me. Yay less copays.
