Sorry for the off topic comment, but I thought this would be the quickest way to message you.

Thought you might be interested in MayFicWriMo, a ML group Roku and I started for people who need a boost in morale in regards to writing production. It's sort of a mini NaNoWriMo- this is our third year of doing it, and it's always fun.

Not a prob. I don't mind the off-topic conversation! ((That reminds me, I probably should actually give you my real e-mail at some point, so we aren't resigned to using forums on FF/review responses/LJ comments!))

Darnit, I am so interested in that; if only you guys had chosen a different month! I leave for boot camp in four days. So I won't be around for May -- or June or July for that matter. The earliest I expect to get internet access again is mid-July.

Count me in next year, though; and count me in on any other WriMo's you guys have planned!

*jaw drops* Omigosh, is it boot camp time already!? Where did the time go???? *shakes head in disbelief*

We've made this an annual event, so we'll be looking forward to seeing you next year. *grin* For now, it's the only one we do-but you never know.

I've been playing with the idea of starting a year round writing support community...haven't worked it out yet, but it probably wouldn't happen until the fall.
