Before I start off on this do-what-the-celebs-do-on-stage-at-oscars-thing, let me ( Read more... )

I find it funny that my name is not merely Alex, but Alex Leeding.

I guess it's just a name that should be said in its entirety, like Cathy Jan.

Oh, and just for you:
Shy-la-ja.

Shylaja. There. I said it right. Happy now?

i'm honored.

i guess it's a weird habit of mine. there are certain names that have to be said in its "entirety" take michael tee, for example. i could never just call him michael. it's just too bland. from the first time i met him, back in 8th grade till now, it's always been michael tee. same thing with leiken. it can never be just alex. it has to be alexander. and alex park, and like you said, cathy jan. i guess you're just one of those cool people who name is meant to be said "in its entirety."

and thank you very much for the name thing.

Aw come on, the moment is surreal w/o Alex butchering your name. Therefore, I'll do it for him.

"Hi Shylamaja!"

Anyways, I'll miss you too. Are you ok?

actually, i'm not really sure. we'll have to wait for the results to come out. (i had a few brain scans, and some neurological testing done. hopefully, nothing.) but its disturbing when doctors look grim and tell you weird stuff. and it's even more annoying when they say things like, "it's in a very early stage, so you'll be alright for a while" or "we're not completely sure, but just to be on the safe side" or "here are 7 different medications that you're supposed to take at 17 different times of the day with 12 kinds of food and 3 kinds of drinks"

if you're planning on going into med school, please don't get into the habit of these speeches.
