When Did Winter Come Back???

It is sooo cold here in Texas right now. We're not supposed to get out of the flipping 40's today with a chance of rain and snow showers. Actually we've already had some light flurries this morning but either way its spring not winter.

This confused me because the pecan trees don't usually start budding until after the final freeze of the year and yet they started budding last week or so. Even they didn't know it was gonna be this cold this weekend.

Exactly but then again when you live in Texas you learn to expect the unexpected.

Oh I hear ya hun, I couldn't believe it when Mom told me it was snowing outside. I mean, that is unusual for Texans in December, but April? Lol I hope the spring weather comes back soon. *crosses fingers* : ) ♥
