Rain..Rain..Go Away...

It has been raining off and on for the last 66 hours. We've had about 4 inches of rain so far and there is more on the way. This is probably one of the wettest summers that we have had in a very long time. Although all of this rain has kept our temperatures either at or below normal and that in it self is a real treat. We're now under another flood

It feels like all it has been doing lately is raining. When it stops I'll be thinking, "Wait. Why am I not soaking wet after walking from my car to my house?"

I have this weird feeling that when we finally get a break from all of the rain then our temperatures will end up going up. Today in El Paso it was 105...yikes and the record high for today was 113 from back in 1980. Can we just go straight to winter?...lol.

Wouldn't that be nice. But the way our winters have been the past couple of years...

I think the rain has finally stopped at my house. For now at least.
