Watching Downton Abbey! Thoughts on the first three episodes!
(Preface: the chances of my opinions changing drastically about who I dislike is to be expected.)
- I basically want the entire show to be the Dowager Countess and Cora.
- I am dying to know what the hell made O'Brien so fiercely bitter and nasty.
- Similarly, what is Edith's damage?
- MARY, WHY DOES NOTHING PLEASE YOU?
- But seriously, why do the Crawley sisters hate each other so much? I'm actually stunned at the cattiness.
- LORD GRANTHAMMMMMM.
- Mr Bates and Anna and Gwen and Daisy and Carson and Mrs Hughes!
- The Isobel and Violet showdowns!!!
- Sybil is both the nicest and prettiest sister, and I would also like the show to revolve around her. I imagine it would be full of forest animals flocking around her and helping her with daily tasks, but I can't really see that as a problem.
I'm hoping the characters I currently dislike get more screentime or have their lives expanded more so I don't have to feel uncomfortable disliking them. In or out, characters, either get awesome or give me background.
