Stolen from plaid_slytherin:

Pick a pairing and I'll write a short scene where they share a kiss.I really should write a real entry, but there's not much to talk about, because I have no idea what I'm doing with my life and I miss France and my friends there and :(. The biggest deals in my life right now is that I bought a gorgeous pair of wedges and I'm ( Read more... )

The touch of Gina's mouth is a luxury, Helena knows, one that she longs for and might come to need one day, if things continue. Gina comes to her quarters, prim and buttoned up, her clipboard in hand and a stylus behind her ear. "Admiral," she would say, loud enough for anyone to who would dare to listen, "I've found something interesting in the retrofit I thought you should see..." or some other pretense, eyes wide and guileless ( ... )

Aw, I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for the awesome prompt, and for ignoring the glaring grammatical snafu in that last line.

You knows I'm gonna say my girl Laura and Bill, but I'll also give you the option of Kara and Sam because I heart you, boo!

And I'm going to write you the drabble you really want because I heart you boo!

Before the battle- the last battle, Laura kept thinking, the last battle- Bill walked her to sickbay, too distracted to ask what she would be doing there. His arm was braced around her shoulders and his hand gripped hers, but his mind was on plans of attack and the position of his men.

The medics were too busy preparing to spare a glance at them, and Laura's nerves were set on edge by the rattle of instruments and Cottle's bark of instructions. The last battle. "Bill," she said, not intending to sound as gentle as she did. "When this is over..."

His weary face softened into a smile for just a second, and he kissed her. "I'll see you on the other side, Laura."

She supposed it was true any way you looked at it, and she kissed him again. "Good hunting."

Sweet, I'm going to be honest and say I don't really feel that I can do this ship you love so ardently justice. ;) Would you maybe like to try another ship?

Aww, that's too bad. :( I'm sure you'd do fine, but if you really don't want to then maybe my #2 Laura/Lee?

ETA: Or if you'd rather, Saul/Caprica. Any of them are fine. :)

The best thing about being married to another lawyer was that they both understood what it was like to be consumed with a case. There was no judgment when hours were spent pouring over casefiles or asking to be grilled on precedents: this was their shared passion ( ... )
