So apparently I made this an AU where, um, Bill and Saul are retired? And live in a house and watch cooking competitions, which I hope you're down with.

"We never get any trick-or-treaters," Saul grumbled as he came back into the living room, "And the one year we don't buy candy..."

Bill waited til Saul had settled next to him before asking, "Are they egging the house?"

"No. Used my XO voice on them and scared 'em off."

Bill chuckled. "You'd think retirement would make you rusty."

"It's something you never forget. What did I miss?"

"The girl from Canceron was eliminated."

Saul shook his head. "I told you, when she left out the Tauron squash I knew she'd be cut. It's a Souls' Day tradition, for crying out loud."

"This round has tartarus leaf and coffee."

"Now that sounds scary."

While a marathon of Ultimate Chef: Colonial Edition was certainly delightful, the best treat of all was time together.

Don't think I didn't notice your Myka namedrop! You're adorable! You will get me to check out W13 yet.

I had SUCH FUN writing it, I can't even tell you! And honestly, who wouldn't show up with rum for Sam the pirate?

LOL I had no idea if anyone would notice but I was like *shifty eyes* and totally added it for my own amusement! W13 is charming and adorable and highly recommended!

(I don't think I've ever written Leoben before, but here you are! <3)

He dreams of her while he downloads, glimpses of colors and bright words, and her blazing spirit that gleams beyond all reason. She flits through his thoughts, her words a golden benediction, and her voice is the weighted sound of her soul. His siblings may not understand his fixation, but only because they have never felt the warmth of conviction, the sweet taste of righteousness.

This may not be considered as fun of a treat, but I wanted you to know that I've been thinking about your visit to France so much, and how wonderful it was to see you! I don't remember if I told you this at the time, but the knowledge that you were coming really helped me to get through some hard weeks of overly dramatic angst. And, beyond that, it was so much fun just having you around, and being able to wander around and go into shops and gossip and talk about fandom! I'm really so glad you came and that you put up with me for the weekend, and I'm so happy to know you overall.

(Also, on that show Long Island Medium, I'm pretty sure the medium Theresa Caputo has a bag by La Bagagerie, and every time I see I think of finding that bag with you! <3)

Oh my goodness. Thank you, Madi. What a sweet note - I'm so touched. I adored seeing you there - it was a highlight of my trip. I will never forget the sparkler bar and how you all embarrassed me to death! ;)

I carry that bag every weekend. I LOVE IT! Now, I just need to get back to Paris and get yet another one, BIGGER! <3<3

I'm so glad we got to spend that time together. It meant a lot to me, too. (((HUGS)))
