Yesterday morning I took my cat Lilly into the vet. *she lost a pound! she now weighs 8 pds!* She's had this whistle-like sound for awhile. I was told to give her half a benedryl tab, but that was a no go. The vet said it was probably too bitter for her and gave her a steroid shot. Last night, she was limping on one paw. He told me to watch out signs of transient diabetes. So, that's why I'm making this post to remember any changes between now & the next four weeks.

This morning it took her about three hours to eat. She wanted to sleep a lot both I attribute to the shot. This evening she ate one bite and walked away until I added two treats to her bowl. Earlier, she was laying in front of her water bowl and then I caught her laying in the shower? It's only day one after her shot, but normally I don't have to coax to eat, but not tonight. I added a treat or two to her dinner and she ate half that's better than nothing. Hopefully tomorrow she'll act more like herself.

The most frustrating thing for me is to watch her still have the wheeze and know the effects from the shot may take up to four weeks. Not a very exciting entry, but again it's more so for me to keep track of Lilly.Who will hopefully be back to her active self & soon!
