Awww, sorry to hear about your friend. Is this the party you were telling me to go to? :P Eh, if you don't wanna go, don't go. If you don't like the people, you won't have fun which totally defeats the purpose of going to a party.

Like Marty said, I'd only bring a few books. Only the ones you're pretty sure you're going to use. Don't bring all of them unless you want to be crippled.
