good luck if you do decide to go on accutane. i hope it wipes your acne out, never again to return. mine is back with a vengeance, so i know how you feel. let me know how it goes for you, i might go on it when i get home next year, if nothing else works or it doesn't go away on its own.

Good luck! Don't be worried. Things happen like that, but they really are rare. Just relax, jump through the hoops, and thank GOD that you're not sexually active. It would be HELL if you were.

P.S. - It's good that it'll force you to go to a gyno, too!

A little late on the uptake, but.... nikkimm9 June 12 2007, 02:00:16 UTC
Yeah, you wrote this post about 12 days ago, but I figured I'd chime in with my comment, albeit late. I think it's a great opportunity for you, and you'll be really happy if you decide to do it. And the side effects, for birth control anyway, in my opinion are only factors if you are in bad health already or you smoke, which you don't fall under either. And the cost isn't as bad as you might think, if you have a decent health insurance plan; I'm on a generic birth control prescription, and my co-pay is only $10.

Come to Lancaster! That'll clear the acne up :)
