I actually loved this story and am very disappointed that you won't be finishing it anytime in the foreseeable future. I do a lot of beta reading and always recommend to authors that when they lose interest in a story or can't for one reason or another complete it in a timely fashion, that they as least post a summary of the plot. That way your readers know what happens to the characters. I do know that some people begin a story with no plot outline, but I don't think you're one of them. Those people, imo, should not post anything at all until they know what story they intend to write. Just a suggestion.
While I realize you do not mean your comment in a negative way, this is the second time you have told me this, nearly word for word. I have no particular desire to post a plot summary, because I do intend to finish HMHM, perhaps by the end of the month

AWESOME! Sweetie, you must be so proud of your accomplishments. You are setting goals, sticking to them and even doing more than is necessary. :-) Keep up the fab work... you know you'll always have me as a cheerleader in your cheering section!
*snickers* at your unnamed fandom. You're probably like the writing prophet Cassie Claire of your unnamed fandom :) I'm glad you've found something, Harry Potter or not, that inspires you to write. It's so hard sometimes to find inspiration and it looks as if you've found a niche. Woo! And you're right, the dictionary definition of your LJ name is very fitting for this post :)
I was linking someone to this post and found your comment here on being the Cassie Claire writing prophet. In light of all that's come to the surface, this makes me giggle like a freak and think that the only thing I stole were the real-life situations I have in my sooper sekrit fandom that isn't so sooper sekrit anymore. :)
