Lovely story!

I like the way you've described the transition in Mitchell's feelings, from his own life with Herrick as his 'mentor' to the slowly developing relationship with George, and also how George himself develops after meeting Mitchell. You've written Mitchell as thinking in the laid-back, considered way that he does most things on the screen, and it seems very in character to me.

Thank you for taking part in the ficathon!

Thank you very much~! I had been stressing so much about Mitchell being in character since it's my first time writing a story specifically in his POV. Haha.
You're welcome-!

I really like Mitchell's voice in this, the details about domesticity and his thoughts on their relationship. Well done ♥

Thank you-! :D Their relationship seemed so complex to me that I was concerned about accurately portraying it- I'm glad it was up to par~

Oh, thank you!

This is absolutely lovely and soft and quiet and, goodness, the yearning of it all (particularly at the end - and catches a whiff of something like soap and rain and sighs ♥

And this : once Mitchell saw the scars for the first time, and touched the smooth ridges along George’s shoulder with gentle, cold fingers, well, I just love the idea of that; wonderful.

Thank you again :)

Oh my, thank you so much~ I'm so happy that you enjoyed reading it! I had hoped that final sentence didn't sound too rushed or something; I kept re-reading it and adding words and switching things around and freaking out...lol.

You're welcome and thank you for your wonderful prompt!
