MKMF 2008
Today's Topic: MKMF 2008!
Well, dang it! Everyone's pratically written about it anyways. So whats really the use of me writing about it too?
Well! its cuz I TOTALLY STAYED UP LAST NIGHT UNTIL 5AM!
Yes, I was lame enough to NOT finish watching, so I didn't watch the DBSK men (Changmin) cry or anything like that. I'm totally stupified that I even missed it.
I guess, it was totally hard for me to stay up cuz I had work from 7pm-12am, I pratically came home around 1am and then ate some light snack (to obviously gain the extra weight I DON'T need) and then took a shower, and set up my laptop right beside my bed.
At first I had "Live On Air" running and when I was blowdrying my hair, there was like Rain and stuff and the in corner it said "Rain's Live Concert"....I was like "Uh...what?!" So then I quickly looked up LJ and sm_shineequickly posted a different viewer for the MKMF Live.
I was so lucky, cuz it was seriously 5 mins b4 the show ceremony started and I was still downloading the stupid player. I was totally freaking out. I finally had everything running and I got to watch Big Bang recieve some sort of Digital award. I was so glad to not have missed too much of DBSK.
So loads of boring stuff happened cuz I was only waiting and watching for DBSK, when they won awards I clapped (which I shouldn't cuz everyone in my household was sleeping and my mom didn't know I was up watching LIVE, I even had to have my earphones on and beaware of my mom stepping into my room next door). Also when Yunho waved to the camera, I musta looked like a fool by I seriously WAVED back. LOL! hahaha =)
I loved watching the boys LIVE, it really felt like I was a part of it, not only did I help vote but I get to see it in action!
There was totally Homin action and also Yoosu action, I was so freaking pleased =)
Also, I loved how Jaejoong didn't know the camera was on him and he covered his mouth and totally smiled shyly, hes so freaking sweet and cute!
One of my favourite parts was where SHINee performed a short segment of "RISING SUN" and the DBSK members loved it. It was such a fanboy moment for me of the SHINee boys =)
Everyone already knows what happened and everyone is already, on about the Big Bang & Hyori Combo and then the TOP & Hyori KISS.
What pissed me off was that through out the Big Bang performance, the new player was freaking lagging, I guess, I hadn't specified that it was the GOMplayer. haha! It was so annoying, it musta been thoes dang people always posting comments on the stupid site making the player lagg like so much. At one point, I almost gave up to watch, but I really wanted to see the DBSK boys perform, so I didn't quit.
The sad part was that, throughout the long CFs were the only time I got some shut-eye, I nearly fell asleep completely due to exhaustion, but when I heard cheering, I would up turned my head slightly to see if it was DBSK, if it wasn't I went back to sleep. LOL XD
So finally! I got to see the boys perform and I totally have a picture to prove it! I know, I'm such a dork but heck, I made me totally happy. And not only that, throughout DBSK performance they player hardly lagged at all. It was running soooooo smooth, even I was suprised.
Here, I'll show you now, so you'll maybe want to read the rest of my stuff? XD
The beginning was so awesome, each member danced to one of their hit songs only a short segment of it but it was amazing nevertheless. Only Changmin didn't dance, he sang to HUG, which was also awesome after everyone joined in. Then they did WRONG NUMBER (as you can see above) and it was sooooooooo freaking AWESOME. It was prolly even better, cuz I WAS WATCHING IT LIVE! Too bad the player lagged a bit when it was near the end, but still, it was amazing. Then they also performed Mirotic and it was also awesome.
After all these amazing performance, there was another award announcment. And you guessed it! It was for Best Male Group.
And seriously, I was freaking praying, and well, I was kinda half-expecting DBSK to get it. Cuz I was thinking "After this award, I need to sleep, I have a long day tmrw, after all I know DBSK is gonna win all the awards anyways, since Cassies got their back" Then they said the winner and it wasnt my loves, it was Big Bang.
Trust me, they were shocked and I'm sure tons of people especially the Cassies where shocked too.
I was pratcially mentally screaming, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! MY LOVES!" but yea, and then I went to bed, cuz I was too tired to watch the rest.
But, I think the whole point of my post after I got a full day of whining and digesting of what happened and other people's comments, is well, thats life right? There are always ups and downs.
If you saw me today, I was complaining ALL DAY about how DBSK should have won, but I was trying to make myself feel better since they did leave Korea for 1 year and 7 months, and what, after 2 months, is it really possible to get Best Artist of the Year & Best Male Group?
Best Male Group yes, but Artist of the Year, maybe no. But still! *crap I still feel like whining, I seriously, thought I had gotten all out of my system*
I'm definately proud of them for getting Best ALBUM! Come on! thats definately something to be proud over. I just dont know if Changmin was crying about being happy or sad. Also, I haven't watched it myself, but I heard Jaejoong wasn't smiling. Whats going on boys?! Why so sad? All Cassies and me love you and is proud of you anyways. You guys no matter the awards you get or even if you got NONE, we'll still love you, silly boys, our love is UNCONDITIONAL! ^^
One question is that, how in the world with over 800,000 thousand Cassies fans and PLUS, why didn't DBSK boys win thoes supposed awards? did they slack off in voting or what? seriously, its based on ONLINE votes! Does Big Bang really have that many fans? (I'm not bashing, I'm just truly curious)
Well, besides that I personally kinda think Big Bang shoulda have won what they got too, cuz I mean, they worked hard and were in KOREA the whole time and everything. Also, DBSK wasn't even in Korea until the last 2 months, and they still managed to get 5 awards! Thats AMAZING! Its a compeition and the best (even though, my best is DBSK), the best comes out on TOP (no pun, intended with Big Bang's T.O.P)
DBSK! I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER AND UNCONDITIONALLY! YOU GUYS ARE #1 IN ALL OUR HEARTS! *MUAH*!
So anyways, I want to end off here, since after ranting/spazzing I've already felt tons better, and theres nothing better than to look forward into the future and not look at the past even though it was like less than 24hrs ago.
So people, any comment on 2008's MKMF? Let me know how you feel and think!

Ps. I am so darn proud of the SHINee boys! They won BEST NEWCOMER! WHOOT! LOVE YOU SHINee! Keep up the amazing work! Key! You were totally adorable, LIVE! XD
PPs. There is not hate in who won what, but I'm still having a hard time accepting that Wonder Girls won Best Song of the Year..LOL! XD I love them but not to a point they should win it XD I understand, Big Bang...but Wonder Girls? =S (don't hate me, I do love both BB & WG, its just ultimately DBSK is my LOVE)
PPPs. SHINee! Please my lovely boys, keep on looking up and supporting your DBSK hyungs! They're a wonderful example forever and always, I'm sure you guys already know that but just incase. Don't worry, your DBSK hyungs will work even harder and and become even better singers and performers! ^^
PPPPs. Changmin was only crying cuz he felt relieved, so people don't feel worried! (I know, I'm not now) although, it really didn't seem like it. But yea! He was glad after all that hard work people still loved them..Aww so sweet! ^^
Also, the reason why they didn't sweep everything wasn't because of the Cassies! (which again, I feel tons better!) There are stupid people judging =(
Winners were determined by online voting, panel of judges, album sales, digital downloads as the criteria. Over 30 awards were given away that night.
